We Need Your Help: Ongoing Elk Poaching Investigation

This week on Nevada Wild, Edwin and Teresa sit down first with Game Warden John Anderson to talk about the recent elk poaching case.

In the second half, Chief Game Warden Tyler Turnipseed discusses the challenges and intricacies of investigating big game poaching cases.

Sometime during the night of August 29, several people were involved in the shooting of a bull elk.

They took the head, antlers and back straps, leaving most of the animal to waste near Pierson Ranch in Lincoln County.

It’s the kind of crime that infuriates hunters who often wait for years, even a decade or more, for a coveted bull elk tag.

If You have Any Information:

Contact Game Warden John Anderson at 775-728-4233
Or call the OGT (Operation Game Thief) hotline at 1-800-992-3030
Or you can report information online.
$1,000 reward is available. It is your choice to remain anonymous or not.
