Restoring the Lahontan Cutthroat Trout

Pyramid Lake is the only place on earth that you can catch record setting cutthroat trout.

The lake itself is a world-class fishery and boating destination wholly owned and administered by the Pyramid Lake Paiute Nation.

This week, Edwin and Teresa sit down with Vinton Hawley, Chairman of the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe, to talk about the massive effort it has taken to restore the Lahontan Cutthroat Trout.

They also discuss boating and some of the other abundant recreation opportunities out at the lake.
