Free Fishing Day

Free fishing day is Saturday, June 10, the one day a year when anyone can fish in any public fishing water in the state without a fishing license or trout stamp. Along with free fishing, NDOW conducts a number of events across the state to introduce, mostly young people, into the sport of fishing. Here to talk about this year’s events are Conservation Education Division Chief Chris Vasey and Ryan Gilecech, Mark Stevenson and Travis Jackson from the Sparks Rotary, sponsor for one of the Free Fishing Day events.
